Adams’ Midwestern roots and a career as a Registered Landscape Architect have both influenced his designs. The native trees, shrubs, and perennial plants he works with daily and the rugged weather of the Midwest provide his inspiration. Adams uses materials that are long lasting and weather naturally without needing maintenance or care. His primary mediums are weathered steel, brushed aluminum, and stainless steel. Recently he has begun incorporating fluorescent plexiglass to add color and light to his sculptures. Adams has a full-scale fabrication studio with painting, and subcontacts powder coating locally.
